It looks like paper, it feels like paper, but it's made out of plastic so they don't tear and they also have a tamperproof super sticky adhesive closure!

Tyvek is a brand of flashspun high-density polyethylene fibres, a synthetic material that is very durable. It's impossible to tear but can easily be cut with scissors or a knife.
Each band features a unique 6 digit serial number.

These are a great item! We used them for a beach event and at the end of the day, every competitor still had their wristband on. They are waterproof (but look like paper) and the athletes could even write their times on them with no fear of forgetting it or losing a bit of paper. Thanks must also go to Bianca, who managed to get an order in for mee overnight! Well done, fantastic customer service
